Getting Here

Travelling west from Exeter – ignore the first sign for Okehampton and leave A30 at the next sliproad at Sourton Cross signposted Tavistock/Bideford/Bude/Holsworthy which is the A386. At junction off the sliproad, signposted Bideford/Bude/Holsworthy, turn right and proceed under bridge beneath A30 and past fuel station on left.

Continue on for just over a mile and take first left at next roundabout (Bude/Holsworthy A3079). After about a mile turn right for Ashbury. This brings you past the Ashbury Golf Course & Hotel. Take first right again signposted Kigbeare & Cruft continuing past the golf course – the road turns sharp left past forestry land, bring you to the small hamlet of Cruft and where most sat navs expire!).

Keep going for half a mile towards Higher Gorhuish (past more forestry land on right) and you will come to a driveway on right with two signposts – one for Wood St David and second for Howards Gorhuish/Peartree Cottage – turn into this shared driveway and follow down to first turning on left. That should find us – the pink property!! Peartree Cottage will be facing you.
